Community Assessment Team
Much of our work will be guided by the results of a Comprehensive Community Needs Assessment. The purpose of this assessment is to discover the unique needs of our community as they relate to education, employment, health care, housing, child care, transportation, and legal matters.Understanding the nature and extent of poverty in our area is extremely important to the well being of our community today and in the future.
Why conduct this assessment?This important study ensures that member agencies have a common tool for planning and collaborative efforts.
Comprehensive Community Needs Assessment IRB #Sum 2013-79 has been approved by The University of Texas at Tyler Institutional Review Board as an exempt study. This approval includes a waiver of written informed consent, but includes participant verbal consent following verification of their understanding of research procedures.
