In order to do this, we will have professional, highly-trained, well-supported volunteers. These trained facilitators will offer workshops that will ensure we have critical mass of community members who understand and utilize Bridges Out of Poverty constructs in their personal and professional decision making.

Frequently asked questions:

Once I become a facilitator, can I offer workshops in my organization?

Yes, of course, we want to spread the knowledge - understanding poverty and what one can do about it. To make sure we are not duplicating efforts, you will be asked to coordinate with ETHNN but yes, you may schedule your own, i.e. your Rotary Club, place of work, or Congregation.

Once I become a facilitator, can I charge people to attend my workshops?

You cannot make a profit from the workshop. You can charge to cover the costs associated with the workshop, i.e. books, meals, and room.

Once I become a facilitator, will ETHNN organize the workshops or do I have to do it?

ETHNN will work across all community entities, public, private, faith-based, non-profit and others to schedule workshops. We will have 25 facilitators in East Texas, there will be times when you will be asked to help if you are available to co-facilitate.
